FlowerPower VT is farmed by Anne Flack-Matthews. Anne has over 25 years experience including retail florist, garden center manager and avid gardener. Her dried designs have been sold worldwide, as they are unique and include interesting flowers.
She has accomplished over 50 weddings, thus has a great knowledge of cut flowers. With 100 varieties of perennials and annuals, FlowerPower VT is one of the most diverse farms in Vermont. Using organic methods, the fresh eggs, herbs and vegetables are truly special. Food fresh from the vine is an experience you rarely find in a grocer.

Anne's goal is to make the farm as sustainable as possible with a small carbon footprint. By growing culinary and medicinal herbs, as well as Asian, cold crop, heirloom and common vegetables, there is something for everyone to use and enjoy.

Anne has always been an avid shepherd lover, and has enjoyed many Belgians since childhood.  The Tervurens, being herdiers and guards, are a perfict fit on the farm, as they are used to keep the coyotes and other preditors away.  The farm  is at a great advantage to raise smart friendly puppies,  as we handle them daily, and this early stimulation helps the dogs to be loyal, intelligent companions.
