Belgian Tervuren

FlowerPowerVT breeds Belgian Tervuren, these are physically striking, medium sized dogs with a black masked faces. The coat colors range from fawn to fiery mahogany, overlaid with a veil of black. Some here at the farm are silver with black overlay as well. They are a very beautiful, energetic, responsive and intelligent herding dog that can live up to 12 years.

They are great companions, for sport, as well as watchful family guardians and best friends. They love to please, and are ready and willing to go anywhere. We often take the dogs to the nearby river, and to Lake Champlain to swim. They are fun to hike with and just love sharing adventures with the family.

The dogs are the centerpiece of our farm, pups are born in the house, and handled daily. There are farm animals, and people of all ages, coming and going all the time. This socialization produces happy and well adjusted dogs.

The dogs are trained in general obedience and some agility. While our dogs do not attend dog shows, all of them have champions in their pedigree. Pedigrees are provided and can be researched with the AKC. The litters are registered with the AKC, but do not convey full breeding rights unless discussed. The pups are checked by the vet, wormed and vaccinated at 7-8 week and placed not long after.
